MY FIRST IRON PATH.
Nine years ago, when I was 30, I went with some friends to my first iron path (mix of alpine hiking and rock climbing). We came to Sella Massif in Italy.
We started early in the morning from Cortina d’Ampezzo with helmets, snap-hooks and rope. The weather was cool and rainy and we climbed for 3 hours. Finally we arrived at the peak of the mountain (3000 m). The rain stopped and the sun in the sky was so bright. It illuminated all the mountains around for the rest of the day. We saw an incredible scene, a magnificent 360-degree view of the mountains with eagles flying in the sky.
It was a wonderful, adrenaline-filled, breathtaking adventure for me. I like climbing and I will do it again with my friends.
