Mauro, Italy – Level 2

IN THE WOODS.

Sometimes when I get stressed or nervous, I go for a walk in the woods nearby my home. Walking in the nature with the sound of the leaves under my feet or with the wind on my face makes me feel more alive.

In those moments I think of nothing but walking and feeling the nature all around me. My mind and my breath are the same thing and I feel peace in me and around me; I can smell the wet grass and see the sky among the trees; I’m a little crumb in the world, but alive.

I believe that the answers to a lot of life’s questions are in feelings, not in words.
